Nominating and Rules Committee
August 2, 2004
Huntington Building
The meeting was called to order at 6:15 p.m. by Alderman McCall. Members present were: Tim McCall, Alec Farmer, Chris Moore and Cecil Province. Others in attendance were City Clerk Donna Jackson.
AGENDA ITEMS
Councilman Moore moved, seconded by Councilman McCall to place the following items on the city council agenda for August 2, 2004:
• Resolution authorizing the application of a FEMA Grant for Phase II of the Comprehensive Drainage Plan.
• Ordinance creating a Permanent Traffic Review Committee.
All voted aye.
APPOINTMENTS
Councilman Moore moved, seconded by Councilman Farmer to recommend the following appointments to the full council:
AIRPORT COMMISSION - Bryan Fulkerson with an expiration date of April, 2009.
AUDITORIUM COMMISSION - Scott Emerson with an expiration date of April, 2007. Judy Furr was appointed as a City Council representative.
CITY WATER & LIGHT BOARD - John Freeman with an expiration date of April 1, 2007.
JONESBORO CRAIGHEAD LIBRARY BOARD - Jean Pasmore with an expiration date of August 1, 2009, and June Morse with an expiration date of January 1, 2009.
MAPC - Bill Gott with an expiration date of February 7, 2006; Ken Beadles with an expiration date of September 20, 2006; and Mitch Johnson with an expiration date of April 30, 2006.
CRAIGHEAD COUNTY SOLID WASTE - Paul Bookout, Tom Rainwater, and Rick Wyatt all with an expiration date of July 31, 2007.
PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE - Wilber Gains with an expiration date of January, 2005.
All voted aye.
MINUTES
Councilman Moore moved, seconded by Councilman Farmer for the adoption of the July 19th, 2004 minutes. All voted aye.

With no further business, Councilman Moore moved, seconded by Councilman Farmer to adjourn. All voted aye.
