Arkansas Local Police and Fire Retirement System contract to administer a relief fund through LOPFI to eligible members of the Jonesboro Fire Pension and Relief Fund

Arkansas Local Police and Fire Retirement System entered into a contract with the City to administer a relief fund through LOPFI to eligible members of the Jonesboro Fire Pension and Relief Fund and was signed on September 10, 1997. The annual fee will not exceed ½ of the 1% of the annual payroll of active Relief Fund members and 1% of the average annual Relief Fund assets. The ordinance number is 3004 and was approved by the City Council on September 1, 1997.
The contract was amended by RES-08:216 on December 2, 2008. It was amended to transfer pension funds and use the alternate cash flow method. The Joinder Agreement is between the City, the Arkansas Local Government Pension Management Trust, Arkansas Municipal League, Stephens Capital Management and Metropolitan National Bank.
