The meeting was called to order at 6;15 p.m. by Alderman McCall. Members present were: Tim McCall, Alec Farmer, Chris Moore and Cecil Province. Others in attendance were City Clerk Donna Jackson.
MINUTES - February 17, 2004 and April 5, 2004
Councilman Farmer moved, seconded by Councilman McCall for approval of the minutes for February 17, 2004 and April 5, 2004 as provided. Copies were made available to all in attendance. All voted aye.
FORUM REPAIRS
Committee members waited to be provided a proposed ordinance to waive competitive bidding allowing Tom’s Tuckpointing Company to do repairs to the Forum as requested by the Mayor’s Office, however the ordinance was not available until after the Council meeting began. The committee meeting was adjourned but later reconvened at 6:55 p.m. once the proposed ordinance was provided. Councilman Moore moved, seconded by Councilman Farmer to recommend the ordinance to waive competitive bidding for Tom’s Tuckpointing Company for the sum of $19,000.00 to be paid from the General Fund on Outside Agencies - Forum Repair line item. The ordinance was placed on the agenda for consideration by the full council as recommended by Mayor Brodell and his assistant Aubrey Scott. All voted aye.

With no further business the meeting was adjourned.
