A RESOLUTION TO CONTRACT WITH S & S LANDSCAPING FOR MOWING OF THE JONESBORO CITY OFFICES AND VACANT LOTS

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro owns and maintains city offices and vacant lots;
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro let bids for the mowing of its city offices and vacant lots;
WHEREAS, S & S Landscaping was the lowest bidder meeting specifications with an annual price of $8,899.00 for City Offices and $7,004.00 for vacant lots;
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to enter into a 3-year contract with S & S Landscaping for the mowing of said facilities;
WHEREAS, funds for the mowing contract shall come from Building Maintenance and Grounds, line item number 01-115-0221;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas shall contract with S & S Landscaping for the purpose of mowing city offices and vacant lots. A copy of said contract is attached as "Exhibit A."
SECTION 2: The Mayor, Doug Formon and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the agreement.
