RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE COCA-COLA WITH EXCLUSIVE POURING RIGHTS IN THE EARL BELL COMMUNITY CENTER AND THE EARL BELL POOL

WHEREAS, Coca Cola has solicited the sponsorship of the Earl Bell Community Center, Earl Bell Pool, The Iron Will Endurance Series and the future Allen Park sprayground and skatepark.

WHEREAS, Coca Cola has agreed to pay $36,000 over a period of 5 years for the sponsorship of the facilities and events.

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department shall receive a 10% commission rate on all drinks sold through vending machines.

WHEREAS, Coca Cola shall receive exclusive pouring rights in the Earl Bell Community Center and the Earl Bell Pool for a period of 5 years.

WHEREAS, this agreement shall terminate on June 1^st 2008.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the Parks and Recreation Department shall provide Coca Cola exclusive pouring rights in the Earl Bell Community Center and the Earl Bell Pool located at 1212 South Church Street for a period of 5 years.
