AUGUST 12, 1982
The Metropolitan Area Planning Commission met Thursday, August 12, 1982, at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 314 West Washington, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Roy Cooper.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Cooper, Mr. Ball, Mr. Feher, Mr. Farmer, Mr. White.
MEMBERS ABSENT: Mr. Blalock, Mr. Smith, Mr. Scott, Mr. Tilton.
OTHERS PRESENT: Mike Cameron, John Broadaway, Gorge Turner, Joe Tomlinson.
#1 Scott Stevens requests a rezoning from Residential Two (R-2) to Commercial Four (C-4) the following described property: All that part of Lots 110 and 111 lying South of Johnson Avenue and all of Lots 112, 113 and 114 lying South of Johnson Avenue, in College Place Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas. The general location of this property is South of Johnson Avenue and East of Melrose Street.
Mr. Ball made a motion to deny the request, seconded by Mr. Feher. Voting aye: Mr. Ball, Mr. Feher, Mr. Farmer. Voting no: Mr. White.
#2 Lonnie Clark requests a replat of a part of Lots 3 & 4 of Fielder Acres into one lot. The general location of this property is East of Holland Drive and South of Aggie Road.
Mr. Ball made a motion to approve the request, seconded by Mr. Farmer. Request was APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY.
#3 John White, III requests preliminary approval of Subdivision Plans for a replat of the East 300' of Lot 1 of SE Blalock Addition. The general location of this property is South of Aggie Road and East of Blue Ridge Subdivision.
Mr. Ball made a motion to approve the requests, seconded by Mr. Feher, subject to the stipulation that the Lot sizes be adjusted to meet City Ordinances. Voting aye: Mr. Ball, Mr. Feher, Mr. Farmer. Mr. White Passes. REQUEST APPROVED.
