RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY WATER AND LIGHT PLANT HAVE OVERSIGHT ON THE JONESBORO AIRPORT PROJECT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, ARKANSAS:

That the City Water & Light Plant of the City of Jonesboro be and it is hereby created as an airport committee and is authorized and empowered to manage and determine any and all matters pertaining to said airport, its construction, maintenance and operation and to set for the City of Jonesboro in all such matters as fully as the Mayor and City Council might otherwise do and to take any and all steps required to carry out and complete the Jonesboro Airport project and to supervise the maintenance and operation thereof as fully as if such actions were done by the Mayor and City Council, the actions of said the City Water & Light Plant as such committees being approved, ratified and confirmed hereby.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this October 22^nd, 1942.
