A RESOLUTION TO CONTRACT WITH A TO Z LAWN CARE FOR MOWING OF CITY OFFICES (NOTE: THIS RESOLUTION WAS POSTPONED INDEFINITELY ON APRIL 7, 2009)

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro owns and maintains city offices;
WHEREAS, A to Z Lawn Care was the lowest bidder meeting specifications with an annual price of $13,140.00 plus city, county and state taxes;
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to enter into a 3-year contract with A to Z Lawn Care for the mowing of city offices;
WHEREAS, funds for the mowing contract shall come from Building Maintenance and Grounds line item number 01-115-0221;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas shall contract with A to Z Lawn Care for the purpose of mowing city offices. A copy of said contract is attached as "Exhibit A. "
SECTION 2: The Mayor Harold Perrin and the City Clerk, Donna Jackson are herby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the agreement.
