RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO CONDEMN CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF JONESBORO FOR THE PUPOSE OF ESTABLISHING A DETENTION POND

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has the need to acquire property for the purpose of constructing a detention pond;

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has the authority to condemn under eminent domain.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

1. That the City of Jonesboro is hereby authorized to condemn under eminent domain the following properties:

The North part of Lot 24 Block 2 Ridgecrest Add. (30’ x 74.4’) or 2232 Sq. Ft. also known as 502 Parkview; and

The North part of Lot 25 Block 2 Ridgecrest Add. (30’ x 75’) or 2259 Sq. Ft. also known as 500 Parkview; and

The North part of Lot 23 Block 2 Ridgecrest Add. (30’ x 74.3’) or 2229 Sq. Ft. also known as 504 Parkview.

2. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
