A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT WITH NRS CONSULTING ENGINEERS FOR THE COMPLETION OF JOE MACK CAMPBELL BASEBALL PARK (NOTE: THIS CONTRACT HAD A CHANGE ORDER WITH RES-05:410 ON SEPTEMBER 20, 2005)

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has reviewed the list of engineers on the professional services list and interviewed engineering firms for the design and construction supervision of the Joe Mack Campbell Baseball Park.
WHEREAS, the firm selected to design and manage the construction of the final phase of the Joe Mack Campbell Baseball Park is NRS Consulting Engineers.
WHEREAS, NRS Consulting Engineers have negotiated with the City of Jonesboro a fee of $40,000.
WHEREAS, funds for the engineering and construction supervision shall come from line items GL 741 "Soccer Field Donations" and GL 742 "Baseball Field Donations".
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro shall enter into a contract with NRS Consulting Engineers for a fee of $40,000 to design and complete Joe Mack Campbell Park Baseball Complex.
SECTION 2: The Mayor, Hubert Brodell and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
