RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CITY OF JONESBORO PAY PLAN, ADOPTED BY RESOLUTION NO. 2004:02, TO MOVE THE POSITION OF FINANCE DIRECTOR/CITY TREASURER TO PAY GRADE NUMBER 25 OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO WAGE AND SALARY PLAN

WHEREAS, The Finance Committee and the Mayor have identified the need to amend the existing City of Jonesboro Wage and Salary Plan;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT

SECTION ONE:  Due to the responsibilities and complexity of the position of Finance Director/City Treasurer the position shall be changed from Grade 24 with a salary range of $58,751.30 to $89,397.05 to Grade 25 with a salary range of $64,850.44 to $98,677.62.

SECTION TWO:  There are sufficient funds in the budget and no additional money will need to be appropriated.
