AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON UNIMPROVED DEDICATED RIGHT-OF-WAY, IN THE CRAIGHEAD TECHNOLOGY PARK

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates, and abandons all of its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the dedicated right-of-way designated as follows:
In the Craighead Technology Park, the North 100 feet of the South 190 feet of the North east quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 29, Township 14 North, Range 5 East, of Craighead County, Arkansas. Less and except the West 75 feet thereof and less and except the East 50 feet thereof.
SECTION 2: A copy of the ordinance certified by the City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Craighead County, Arkansas, and shall be filed in the Deed Records of such office.
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, finds and declares that the above right-of-way is not necessary for the general benefit and welfare of the public; that the owners of all the property abutting the above designated right-of-way are in favor of the closure and vacation of the above designated right of way.
SECTION 4: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
