RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISION # 3, TO THE 1997 AND 1998 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM AND BUDGET, JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

WHEREAS, The City of Jonesboro is desirous of amending its 1997 and 1998 Community Development Block Grant Program and Budget; and
WHEREAS, The City is required to approve changes in our programs recommended by the Citizen Advisory Committee, approved by the City Council, and then submit the changes to the Department of Housing & Urban Development; and
WHEREAS, The Citizen Advisory Committee voted to add $18,378.06 to the 1997 Sweetheart & Tulip Sewer Improvements line item, and add $7,158.02 to the Washington Street Drainage Project - Phase 2 line item. It is desirous to reprogram the money from the savings of the 1997 Program Administrative Budget of $10,119.70 and from the savings of the 1998 Program Administrative Budget of $15,416.38.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS to revise the 1997 and 1998 CDBG Budget and Proposed Project to add $18,378.06 to the 1997 Sweetheart & Tulip line item, and add $7,158.02 to the Washington Street Drainage Project - Phase 2 line item; and delete $10,119.70 from the savings of the 1997 Program Administrative Budget line item and to delete $15,416.38 from the savings of the 1998 Program Administrative Budget line item.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Mayor and the Community Development Coordinator submit the necessary changes and documentation for Revision # 3 to the Department of Housing & Urban Development, Little Rock Area Office.
