LEGAL DESCRIPTION: A part of Lot 7, and a part of Lot 9, all in Block 1, Broadaway's Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, as recorded in Book 18, page 169 in the office of the Circuit Court Clerk and Ex-Officio Recorder, Craighead County, Arkansas, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at an existing iron pin on the East line of Fisher Street as it now exists and 78.5 feet South of the North line of Lot 9, Block 1, Broadaway's Addition aforesaid; thence North 87 degrees 38 minutes East 104.2 feet to the West line of Lot 8, Block 1, aforesaid Broadaway's Addition; thence North 0 degrees 34 minutes West 70.2 feet; thence North 10 degrees 06 minutes East 41.6 feet; thence North 24.4 feet; thence South 87 degrees 54 minutes West 110.8 feet to the East line of Fisher Street; thence South 135.9 feet to the point of beginning and being subject to an apparent encroachment onto Lot 8 of approximately 6.8 feet in the Northeast corner of the tract.

 

WHEREAS, the above property has been inspected and has been determined unsuited for human habitation.

 

WHEREAS, all of the stipulations have been met in the condemnation process to proceed with the condemnation of this property.

 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT: The city should proceed with the condemnation of the property located at: 702 S. Fisher St. Jonesboro, AR 72401.
