RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A CONTRACT FOR SERVICES WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS FOR CITY PLANNING AND TO SET OUT A PAYMENT SCHEDULE FOR THE SERVICES

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council meeting in regular session on July 16, 1956, that the mayor and City Clerk be and is hereby authorized, directed and ordered to negotiate and execute on behalf of the City a “contract for services in City Planning between the City of Jonesboro and the University of Arkansas”.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City appropriate and set aside the sum of thirty eight hundred dollars ($3,800.00) for use in said City planning as was more fully set out by Resolution adopted on March 5, 1956. This amount to be payable $400.00 the first month and $200.00 a month for the next seventeen months.

The foregoing resolution was adopted on this the 16^th day of July, 1956.
