A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO REVISE THE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT TRANSACTION PLAN

WHEREAS, the Jonesboro City Council had previously adopted an Americans With Disabilities Act Transaction Plan on the 16^th day of March, 1998 by Resolution No. 1998:15; and

WHEREAS, said plan is in need of updating and revision, particularly in keeping with the courts order in Huggins et al vs. City of Jonesboro; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

1.                     That the City of Jonesboro Americans With Disabilities Act Transaction Plan prepared in November, 2002 is hereby adopted.

2.                     That any resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

3.                     That a copy of said November, 2002 plan is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
