AN ORDINANCE TO ABANDON A PORTION OF BRENTWOOD DRIVE IN HUNTER'S RIDGE ADDITION.

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

SECTION 1: The City Council finds that Brentwood Drive is unimproved and undeveloped and should be abandoned to allow the portions of the streets to be replatted to conform to the street alignment in the subdivision.

SECTION 2: The City Council, pursuant to Arkansas Statues Annotated, abandons and vacated said portions of streets described as follows, to wit: All of Brentwood Lane, Brentwood cove West and Brentwood Cove East as recorded as Hunter's Ridge Addition, Phase 1 to Jonesboro, Arkansas.

NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, does vacate and abandon Brentwood Lane, Brentwood Cove West and Brentwood Cove East as described above and further, the City Council finds that an emergency exists and this ordinance being necessary for the protection and promotion of the public health, welfare and safety , the same shall take effect from and after its passage, and approval.
