BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: TITLE 14, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS BE AMENDED AS RECOMMENDED BY THE METROPOLITAN AREA PLANNING COMMISSION BY THE CHANGES IN ZONING CLASSIFICATION AS FOLLOWS:
FROM I-1 TO C-3, THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION (AS SURVEYED):
A part of Lots 2 and 4 of the Cobb’s Survey of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 27, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Craighead County, AR, City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Lot 2; thence N 85°58’55 E, a distance of 10.44 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING;
thence along the Eastern Right-of-Way of Watts Street as follows; N 32°24’50” E, a distance of 110.70 feet to a point on a curve; thence along a curve to the left, said curve having a radius of 230.00 feet, an arc of 134.08 feet, a chord length of 132.18 feet, and a chord bearing of N 15°42’51” E, to a point; thence
N 00°58’29” E, a distance of 57.73 feet to a point; thence along a curve to the right, said curve having a radius of 25.00 feet, an arc of 39.29 feet, a chord length of 35.37 feet, and a chord bearing of
N 44°03’09” E, to a point on the south Right-of-Way of Arkansas Highway 18 (A.K.A. Highland Drive); thence following the Right-of-Way of Arkansas Highway 18, N 89°04’46” E, a distance of 602.59 feet to a point; thence leaving said Right-of-Way, S 32°50’14” W, a distance of 327.70 feet to a point; thence
S 85°58’55” W, a distance of 544.91 feet to a point, said point being the POINT OF BEGINNING, said tract containing 3.65 acres, more or less, and being subject to easements and Rights-of-Way for roads and other purposes.
