RESOLUTION TO ISSUE CAPITAL NOTES AS PRESCRIBED BY ORDINANCE 1123 TO BE USED FOR RIGHT OF WAY ON EAST WASHINGTON AVENUE

BE IT RESOLVED that under provisions of Ordinance No.1123 the City of Jonesboro purchase and issue capital notes for the following described properties which are to be used for right-of-way in opening of East Washington Avenue. Upon purchase being completed, the Mayor and City Clerk shall file with the Recorder of Craighead County, a certificate accurately describing the tracts and acknowledging the real estate liens or mortgage securing the notes described in Ordinance 1123:
(1) Kirksey property - Purchase 24 feet of the North Side of Kirksey property along Washington Avenue running east and west 247.94 feet.
(2) Leary property - A part of Lot 23 of Cobb & Lee Survey of SW ¼ of Section 17 Township 14 Range 4 East being more particularly described as follows:
Begin at the center line of East Washington Avenue Extended with the intersection of the West line of lot 23 of Cobb & Lee Survey of SW ¼ of Section 17, Township 14 N Range 4 thence south on aforesaid west of Lot 23 a distance of 24.4feet to the point of beginning proper, thence continue south on the West line of Lot 23 a distance of 24 feet thence N 88° 31’ E. 264.2”, thence North 24’, thence S 88° 31’ W 264.2’ to the point of beginning proper.
