RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS APPROVING THE 2006 CONSOLIDATED AND ACTION PLAN FOR THE CITY, DATED MARCH 7, 2006 INCLUDING THE 2006 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROJECTS (NOTE: THIS PLAN WAS AMENDED BY RES-07:210 ON JULY 17, 2007)

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro is required to hold at least one public hearing and approve their Consolidated Action Plan for the fifth year of a Five Year Consolidated Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Consolidated Plan must include an Action Plan for the fifth year of the Five Year Consolidated Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Action Plan contains the year (2006) Community Development Block Grant Projects as recommended and approved by the Citizen Advisory Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the Consolidated Plan/2006 Action Plan, dated March 7, 2006, is hereby approved.
SECTION 2: That the year (2006) CDBG Projects attached hereto are recommended and approved as a part of the Plan and are 100% Federal Funds with no City match.
SECTION 3: That the Mayor or Community Development Grants Coordinator is directed to sign all documents, as necessary to assure the 2006 Consolidated Plan/Action Plan is submitted to the Department of Housing and Urban Development on or about March 15, 2006.
SECTION 4: That any and all resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby waived.
SECTION 5: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
