RESOLUTION TO WAIVE THE SETBACK PROVISIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN OFFICE BUILDING FOR A MOTEL AS REQUESTED BY FRANK MACON

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

 

That Frank Macon be allowed to complete the construction and erection of the office building for the Motel which he is erecting on Gee Street within the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and that the setback provisions of Ordinance No. 900 of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, be waived within reference to this construction project, insofar as same is not closer than 35 feet to the center of Gee Street, provided that the said Frank Macon shall first procure all necessary building permits and shall agree in writing to hold the City harmless in the event future widening of Gee Street necessitates that removal of any part of said construction which conflicts within the setback provisions of Ordinance No. 900.

 

PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of October, 1960.
