A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS APPROVING THE CONTRACT FOR THE GREENWAY PROJECT (NETTLETON SCHOOL/ALLEN PARK) FROM ALVIN CRABTREE CONSTRUCTION UNDER THE CDBG PROGRAM

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro advertised and received bids for the construction of  Greenway Project (Nettleton School/Allen Park) on August 1, 2007 for the CDBG Program; and

WHEREAS, the low bid of $99,000.00 was submitted by Alvin Crabtree Construction, which was checked by NRS Consulting Engineers; and

WHEREAS, bids are within our CDBG budget amount, of which $99,000.00, one hundred percent of the funds for the project will come from the Community Development Block Grant Budget, fund line item 10-888-0500-80, previously approved by the City Council and the Department of Housing & Urban Development;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:  

That the Mayor, Douglas Formon and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
