RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION FOR ALDERMAN DONALD R. MINX:

WHEREAS, Donald R. Minx served as an alderman on the Jonesboro City Council form 1967 until his untimely death Thursday, March 4, 1982; and
WHEREAS, Donald R. Minx served during his tenure as Vice Mayor, Chairman of the Sanitation Committee, member of the Finance Committee, member of the Fire and Police Committee and member of the Advertising and Promotion Commission; and
WHEREAS, Donald R. Minx represented his city through his work at Arkansas State University and memberships in various organizations; and
WHEREAS, the leadership of Donald R. Mix was an integral part of the entire community;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the work and civic dedication of Donald R. Minx always be remembered and appreciated by the citizens of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
