ORDINANCE SETTING OUT THE PENALTIES FOR LEWDNESS

Whoever in the City of Jonesboro shall be guilty of any lewd, obscene or lascivious conduct or sexual intercourse or illicit cohabitation to an extent amounting to a public scandal or a public indecency, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not less than Five Dollars nor more than Twenty-five Dollars, and each day that such conduct or relation shall continue after the conviction of either party thereto, under this Ordinance, or after such relationship shall become so notorious as to amount to a public scandal or a public indecency, shall constitute a separate offense.
