A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS ACCEPTING BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF FENCING AT ALLEN PARK

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro owns and maintains Allen Park, located at 3609 Race Street.

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro solicited bids for the fencing of the perimeter of the Allen Park and the low bidder was Dacus Fence with a low bid of $28,880.15.

WHEREAS, the funds for the fencing project shall come from 2006 budget line item 10-888-0500-44  Community Development Block Grant;

WHEREAS, the Community Development Block Grant is a 100% federally funded grant.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro accepts the low bid of $28,880.16 from Dacus Fence to construct fencing for the perimeter of the Allen Park.

SECTION 2: The City Purchaser is hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
