AN ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS AND SIDEWALKS

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to appropriate the amount of $85,000.00 to be used on drainage improvements and sidewalks on James and Frierson streets.

WHEREAS, said $85,000.00 will be charged to unappropriated capital improvements.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:   

SECTION 1: That the City Council for the City of Jonesboro appropriate the amount of $85,000.00 for drainage improvements and sidewalks for James Street and Frierson Street.

SECTION 2: That the 2006 budget is hereby amended to reflect said appropriation money to come from unappropriated capital improvements.
