AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.849 SAME BEING AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE PLUMBING CODE FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

Section 1: Section II of Ordinance No.849 is amended as follows to include the following:

The provisions of the Arkansas Plumbing Code 5^th Addition being particularly the 1971 edition thereof and as may be hereinafter modified or amended, of which not less than three (3) copies have been filed in the office of the Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out in length herein, and from the date on which this section shall take effect, the provisions thereof shall extend over and govern the installation of all plumbing installed, altered, or repaired in the City.

Section 2: It is found and declared by the City Council that this Ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval
