PUBLIC HEARING 6:15 P. M -The public hearing was rescheduled for April 3, 2000 at 6:15 p.m. Mr. George Hamman requested the delay on behalf of his client, Ms. Teresa L. Brimhall.

CITY COUNCIL MINUTES - March 20, 2000

The Jonesboro City Council met Monday, March 20, 2000 at 6:30 p.m. A full quorum was in attendance. Present were: Mayor Hubert Brodell, City Clerk Donna Jackson, City Attorney Phillip Crego and 11 council members. Those members were: Kelton, Tate, McCall, Young, Crockett, Rorex, Rega, Province, Copeland, Perrin and Roddy. Councilman Moore was unable to attend.

Councilman Perrin moved, seconded by Councilman Roddy for approval of the minutes as previously delivered. A voice vote was taken resulting in all members voting aye. Those members voting aye were: Kelton, Tate, McCall, Young, Crockett, Rorex, Rega, Province, Copeland, Perrin and Roddy.

The following ordinance was on third and final reading:

ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 954 KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR CHANGES IN ZONING BOUNDARIES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES (Cooper and Roberts)

Councilman Tate moved, seconded by Councilman McCall for the adoption of the ordinance. A voice vote was taken resulting in all members voting aye. Those members voting aye were: Kelton, Tate, McCall, Young, Crockett, Rorex, Rega, Province, Copeland, Perrin and Roddy. The ordinance was assigned ordinance number 3206.

The following ordinance was never offered:

ORDINANCE TO VACATE A PORTION OF LOUIE LANE BETWEEN COVEY ROAD AND NEELY ROAD. (Teresa L. BrimHall)

Councilman Rega moved, seconded by Councilman Perrin to table this particular ordinance till April 3, 2000. A voice vote was taken resulting in all members voting aye. Those members voting aye were: Kelton, Tate, McCall, Young, Crockett, Rorex, Rega, Province, Copeland, Perrin and Roddy.

Councilman Young offered the following ordinance for first reading:
