RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY AND TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro and AHTD have entered into an agreement to provide removal of litter, mowing and trimming of highway right of ways; and

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro will be paid unit price of $10.00 per acre for Removal and Disposal of Litter and unit price of $13.24 per acre for mowing and trimming.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED  by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro that:

1.  That the City of Jonesboro shall enter into a contract with the State of Arkansas to provide litter removal, mowing and trimming services.

2.  Mayor Harold Perrin and City Clerk Donna Jackson are hereby authorized to execute such documents as are necessary to effetuate this Agreement.
