RESOLUTION TO ADOPT THE JONESBORO-2000 COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT PLAN AS PREPARED AND RECOMMENDED BY THE MAPC

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission, following a public hearing on November 4, 1976, adopted on November 4, 1976, and recommended to the Jonesboro City Council for adoption, a comprehensive development plan entitled, “Jonesboro-2000” for the City of Jonesboro and its environment;

WHEREAS, it is in the intention of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas to adopt the comprehensive development plan entitled “Jonesboro-2000”;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the comprehensive development plan, entitle, “Jonesboro-2000” as prepared and recommended by the MAPC be and hereby is adopted.
