RESOLUTION TO CONFIRM THE REAPPOINTMENT OF ELIZABETH STAFFORD TO THE JONESBORO URBAN RENEWAL AND HOUSING AUTHORITY

WHEREAS, on October 16, 1967, the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas, created the Jonesboro Urban Renewal and Housing Authority (JURHA) in accordance with A.C.A. 14-169-207; and
WHEREAS, Elizabeth Stafford was first appointed to JURHA on October 2, 1995; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Stafford's term expired on October 1, 2012; and
WHEREAS, JURHA has recommended the reappointment of Ms. Stafford to another five-year term.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The reappointment of Elizabeth Stafford is hereby confirmed with an expiration date of October 1, 2017.
