BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1- Whereas the terms of office of those persons designated to serve as City appointed members of the Board of City Water & Light have been stated historically to end on April 30 of their final year, which is found to be not in accord with the end of Board terms for all other City Water & Light members, whose terms are stated to begin and end "on the date of the first regular board meeting of CWL in March" of the ending year.
SECTION 2- Beginning this date, the terms of office for appointees to the City Water & Light Board shall be stated to start and end on the date of the first regular meeting of the City Water & Light Board.
