A RESOLUTION TO CONTRACT WITH R & R SERVICES FOR MOWING OF THE JONESBORO CITY RETENTION PONDS

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro owns and maintains retention ponds;
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro let bids for the mowing of its retention ponds;
WHEREAS, R & R Services was the lowest bidder meeting specifications with an annual price of $7,560.00 for mowing the retention ponds;
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to enter into a 3-year contract with R & R Services for the mowing of said facilities;
WHEREAS, funds for the mowing contract shall come from Building Maintenance and Grounds, line item number 01-115-0221;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas shall contract with R & R Services for the purpose of mowing city retention ponds. A copy of said contract is attached as "Exhibit A."
SECTION 2: The Mayor, Doug Formon and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the agreement.
