AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTIONS 503.2.1 OF THE 1991 STANDARD MECHANICAL CODE AS ADOPTED BY THE STATE OF ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: That Section 503.2.1 of the Standard Mechanical Code, 1991 Edition, is hereby amended as follows:
Installation of Flexible Class 0 and Class 1 Air Duct Materials shall be limited to a maximum length of fourteen feet (14'). All other requirements for installation shall remain in tact.
SECTION 2: It is found and declared by the City Council that an emergency exists and this Ordinance, being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
