WHEREAS, James III & Woodrow Walker is the owner of record of property located at 815 Witt St. Jonesboro, AR 72401, LEGAL DESCRIPTION: That Part of Lot 4 of Witt's Addition to the City of Jonesboro, more particularly described as follows: Begin at the Northeast Corner os said Lot 4, thence run West 150 feet, thence South 75 feet, thence East 150 feet, thence North 75 feet to the point of beginning; also described as the North 75 feet of the East 150 feet of Lot 4 of Witt's Addition to the City of Jonesoro, Arkansas, LESS AND EXCEPT THE FOLLOWING tract conveyed to Piero M. Trimarchi and Sara J. Trimarchi by Warranty Deed recorded June 26, 1996: Apart of Lot 4 of Witt's Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas more particularly described as follows: Commence at a point 138.5 feet from the Northeast corner of Lot 4, thence run South 75 feet, thence West 11.5 feet; thence North 75 feet; thence East to point of beginning.
WHEREAS, JAMES III & WOODROW WALKER was properly notified of a code violation at the above address and refused to remove or correct the conditions identified by the code enforcement officer of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, the code enforcement officer corrected the code violation using city funds in the amount of $740; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro seeks to perfect a lien against the affected property to cover the cost of the work pursuant to A.C.A 14-15-903.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:
Section 1: The city should proceed with placing a lien on the property located at 815 Witt St. Jonesboro, AR 72401.
