AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 954, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR CHANGES IN ZONING BOUNDARIES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
SECTION 1: Ordinance No. 954 known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, be amended as recommended by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission by the changes in zoning classifications as follows:
From Residential One to Industrial One the following described property.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Lots 1-5, Block "B" and a part of Lots 1-6, Block "A" of F.W. Caldwell's Subdivision of part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, Section 10, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Craighead County, Arkansas to wit: from the Northeast Corner of said Southwest Quarter Northwest Quarter, Run South 89-59-53 West, 330.0 feet to the Northwest Corner of said Lot 6, Block "A"; Then Run South 00-14-53 West, 31.49 feet to the point of beginning; then Run South 00-14-53 West 298.94 feet; then Run South 02-29-23 East 161.0 feet; then Run South 89-36-33 West 589.96 feet to the East Right Of Way Line of Arkansas Highway 351; then Run North 20-40-00 West along said Highway Right Of Way Line 495.04 feet; then Run North 89-57-11 East 758.96 feet to the point of beginning, containing 7.12 acres.
SECTION 2: It is found and declared by the City Council that the proper zoning of the tract of land described in this Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from its passage and approval.
