RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON CAROL CIRCLE AS REQUESTED BY CITIZENS BANK OF JONESBORO

WHEREAS, Citizens Bank of Jonesboro, by and through its President and Secretary, has filed a Petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, requesting that Carol Circle be vacated and abandon; and

WHEREAS, the Petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and

WHEREAS, Ark. Stat. Ann. §19-3814 requires two (2) weeks public notice before the above street can be vacated and abandoned.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks advising the public that Citizens Bank of Jonesboro desires to vacate and abandon Carol Circle which is located in Shelby Acres in Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas, and that this matter will be hard before the City Council on September 21^st, 1987, at 7:15 p.m. at City Hall in Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas.
