RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO VACATE AND ABANDON A UTILITY EASEMENT

WHEREAS, Mr. Marshall Morrison, has filed a Petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas requesting that the City abandon and vacate a utility easement,
Being located on the west side of Friendly Hope Road, approximately twenty three hundred feet (2,300') feet south of the intersection with Woodsprings Road, and being located approximately three hundred feet (300') west of the center-line of Friendly Hope Road; and
WHEREAS, a petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and
WHEREAS, Arkansas law requires notice of such public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE be it resolved by the City Council of the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice advertising the public of such request to vacate and abandon the above mentioned easement and that this matter will be heard before the City Council on September 20, 2005, at 6:15 o'clock p.m. at the Huntington Building, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
