A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT WITH CARTER & BURGESS, INC. FOR ADDITONAL SERVICES, PILOT PHASE LOCATED WEST OF THE INTERSECTION OF WASHINGTON AND MATTHEWS .

WHEREAS, Carter & Burgess, Inc. proposed a contact with the City of Jonesboro in December, 2005 to provide engineering services related to drainage analysis for area downstream of Marshall Estates Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has determined that drainage analysis includes the enlargement of a proposed detention pond for control of the additional storm water runoff from Marshall Estates Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, Carter & Burgess, Inc. assumes that storm sewer drainage analysis will be necessary for this project ; and
WHEREAS, Carter & Burgess, Inc. has agreed to provide such basic services at a cost of $5,003.00
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Carter & Burgess, Inc. to provide additional services, pilot phase at said Washington and Matthews Street location.
