AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING A PART OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 13, TOWNSHIP 14 NORTH, RANGE 3 EAST, AND A PART OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 24, TOWNSHIP 14 NORTH, RANGE 3 EAST, TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
It being determined by the County Count of Craighead County, Arkansas, after due notice and according to the provisions of law, to enter an order of annexation on April 18, 1955, making
That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 13, Township 14 North, Range 3 East, lying South of the right-of-way of the St. Louis Southwestern Railway (Cotton Belt) Company, and west of the East Bank of Christian Creek, and
Part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 24, Township 14 North, Range 3 East, more particularly described as follows:
Begin at the southeast corner of said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 24, thence run North 474.8 feet to the point of beginning proper, thence West 600 feet, thence North 340 feet, thence West to the West line of said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 24, thence North to the Northwest corner of said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 24, thence East to the northeast corner of said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 24, thence South to the point of beginning proper.
a part of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas. It being found that said territory should be accepted into and made a part of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
It is therefore ordained that the above described lands are hereby accepted and made a part of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, annexed thereto, and the persons residing therein shall have and enjoy all the right and privileges of the inhabitants within the original limits of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
