Minutes for the special called City Council meeting on May 8, 1970

The City Council of the City of Jonesboro met in special session in City Hall, Friday, May 8, 1970, at 6:30 p.m. There were present: Mayor and the following named Councilmen: Pierce, Park, Dr. Bowers, Young, Darling, Stricklin, Minx, Pardew, Bowers, Williams, Johnson and Knight.
Mr. Minx offered the following resolution:
RESOLUTION TO DEDICATE PROPERTY TO ARKANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY IN EXCHANGE FOR A RIGHT-OF-WAY ON MCCLELLAN LANE
Mr. Pierce moved with Mr. Stricklin seconding the motion that the resolution be adopted. All members voted aye and the motion was carried. The resolution was given the number 1970:06.
There being no further business, Council voted unanimously to adjourn.
