RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, APPROVING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A PURCHASE ORDER TO CITY WATER AND LIGHT

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to have City Water and Light relocate approximately 764’ of 8” C-900 PVC on Stadium Blvd between East Nettleton Avenue and Forest Home Road, and

WHEREAS, City Water and Light has submitted a preliminary estimate in the amount of $24,645.67 for such services, and

WHEREAS, funding for the said utility relocation shall be taken from Capital Improvement Budget Line Item 07-100-152 (Drainage).

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

1.                     The Mayor of the City of Jonesboro is authorized to execute a purchase order to City Water and Light to perform said utility relocation.

2.                     This resolution shall take effect immediately.
