AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2003 BUDGET, ORDINANCE NUMBER 3390, FOR THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas hereby appropriates $10,320.00 from unappropriated general fund reserves for the following Jonesboro Police Department equipment:
12 handheld rechargeable flashlights
12 portable radio batteries
20 Class IV Bullet Proof Vest Plates
SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas further appropriates $1,000.00 from unappropriated general fund reserves for uniforms for the Planning and Inspection Department.
SECTION 3: This ordinance being necessary for the financial continuity of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas is hereby declared to be an emergency and shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
