A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF FIREFIGHTER FITNESS TESTING AS PRICED IN BID 2006:22

WHEREAS, there is a need to have a wellness and fitness program for firefighters and;
WHEREAS, bids for the purchase of the fitness program has been taken, with the low bid of $125.00 per employee and approximately 95 employees participating, being received from ASU Human Performance Lab and
WHEREAS, the money for the said services has been obtained through a AFG 2005 Firefighter Grant and Act 833 Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
The Mayor and/or Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized, based upon the need of the program, to accept the bid from ASU Human Performance Lab.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 21st Day of March, 2006.
