RESOLUTION FOR THE DONATION OF CITY EQUIPMENT TO THE NORTHEAST ARKANSAS FIRE ACADEMY TRAINING CENTER AT JONESBORO.

Be it resolved by the City Council of the city of Jonesboro, Arkansas, as follows:
1. Whereas, the City of Jonesboro desires to tangibly assist in the development, growth and continuing effectiveness of programs for the training of firefighters from the cities of Northeast Arkansas to be conducted at the Northeast Arkansas Fire Academy Training Center located at Jonesboro; and
2. Whereas, the City of Jonesboro is in possession of two items of firefighting equipment which the Fire Chief has determined are surplus and not needed by the Jonesboro Fire Department, but which are in serviceable condition and would be useful for fire training purposes, to-wit:
a. One Model C-850 1959 Ford Pumper (VIN No. 850-911-2543)
b. One Ambulance 1976 Chevrolet (VIN No. CCS-33-6A-1111-85)
3. Whereas, it is further provided that the above donation is made on the express condition that the property is so donated is for the sole use and benefit of the Northeast Arkansas Fire Training Academy located in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the Fire Chief and the Jonesboro Fire Department is hereby authorized and directed to donate the above described firefighting equipment to the Northeast Arkansas Fire Training Academy located in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
