A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH G&K TO FURNISH SERVICES TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO; AND

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro currently has an agreement with G&K Services to provide services, which agreement expires in 2011; and

WHEREAS, the city desires to reduce the monthly amount of said service and extend the contract for two (2) years.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

1.  The City Council shall authorize the City of Jonesboro to enter into an agreement with the G&K Services to furnish uniform services (mats, shop towels, etc) to the various departments and buildings with the city of Jonesboro.

2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute such documents as are necessary to effectuate this resolution.
