Department of Justice contract to accept the Justice Assistance Grant (JAG)

Department of Justice entered into an agreement with the City for the FY 2012 Justice Assistance Grant and was signed on September 5, 2012. The grant amount is for $27,440 and will be used for police vehicle equipment upgrades. The resolution number is RES-12:147 and was approved by Council on September 4, 2012.
They also entered into an agreement with the City for the 2013 JAG and was signed on October 4, 2013. The grant amount is for $28,116 and will be used for bomb suit-related equipment and K-9 vehicle cages. The resolution number is RES-13:161 and was approved by Council on October 3, 2013.
They also entered into an agreement with the City for the 2014 JAG and was signed on September 9, 2014. The grant amount is for $30,241 and will be used for tasers and body cameras for the police department. The resolution number is RES-14:129 and was approved by Council on September 2, 2014.
