1. Call to order by Mayor at 7:30 p.m.
2. Roll call by Clerk
3. Approval of minutes from December 6, 1993, as mailed.
· Decision regarding the recommended changes and rebids for the Safeway Project.
·Certificate of Appreciation to Elaine Bartee and Lois Freeman, as the Jonesboro and Nettleton Public Schools 1994 Teacher of the Year.
4. City Attorney:
(A) 1st reading - Ordinance to vacate and abandon Jordan Street and a portion of Hill Drive. (Skip Mooney Sr. - Jordan / Pruitt)
(B) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Agricultural One to Industrial One (AG-1) to (I-1), located on the southeast corner of E. Highland Drive and Moore Road. (Melvin Brown)
(C) 3rd reading - Ordinance to amend Ordinance 2343, Mosquito and Blackbird Control and for other purposes.
(D) 1st reading - Ordinance to establish the position of Mosquito and Blackbird Coordinator
(E) 3rd reading - Ordinance to increase number of Civil Service Commissioners from five (5) to seven (7).
(F) 1st reading - Ordinance to waive bids and purchase two (2) Police Package automobiles from North Point Ford, North Little Rock.
5. Resolution establishing a public hearing regarding the abandonment of a portion of Liberty Street.
6. Resolution to place liens on 22 parcels of land located in the City of Jonesboro.
7. Resolution adopting a temporary budget for 1994, and approving a three percent pay raise for all city employees.
8. Resolution to proceed with condemnation action on a garage located at 1225 South Main Street
