CITY COUNCIL MEETING FEBRUARY 17, 1975

The City Council met in regular session Monday, February 17, 1975, at 7:30 p.m. in the Mayor’s office. There were present, Mayor, City Clerk and the following names aldermen: Ward, Sanderson, Bridger, Burns, Stricklin, Minx, Smith, Bowers, Haggenmacher, Johnson, Hannah and Darling. Absent: City Attorney.

Mr. Bowers offered the following resolution:

RESOLUTON TO AUTHORIZE THE APPLICATION FOR HUD AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FEDERAL ASSISTANCE

The resolution was given the number 1975:30.

Mr. Hervey Aycock of the Parks Committee presented a detailed report to council on parks activities.

On motion by Mr. Burns, seconded by Mr. Smith the clerk was advised to advertise for insurance bids, acceptable before 11 A.M., Monday, February 24^th. Roll call, voting aye: Ward, Sanderson, Bridger, Burns, Stricklin, Minx, Smith, Bowers, Haggenmacher, Johnson, & Darling. Voting nay, Hannah. Motion carried.

Council recessed until Monday, February 24, 1975.
