RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISION # 5, TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM AND BUDGET, JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

WHEREAS, The City of Jonesboro is desirous of amending certain budget items and projects in it’s 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 Community Development Block Grant Programs; and
WHEREAS, in order to revise our programs the City is desirous to approve changes in our projects as recommended by the Citizen Advisory Committee, and then submit those changes to the Department of Housing & Urban Development for approval; and
WHEREAS, The Citizen Advisory Committee approved the following changes as set out in Revision #5 as attached and therefore recommends these to the Mayor and City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS to revise the 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 CDBG Budgets and Projects as set out above and as set out as an attachment exhibit #5.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Mayor and the Community Development Grants Coordinator submit the necessary changes and documentation for approval of Revision # 5 to the Department of Housing & Urban Development, Little Rock, Arkansas Area Office.
